With poor nutrition playing a major role in a variety of diseases, the dieticians play a key role in helping prevent and treat disease. True to our ethos of thinking outside the box, they have expanded their role and run PHC-facility based diabetics clinics - with excellent outcomes.

Lindsay Pollard
Dietician Lindsay graduated from UCT in 2012, with an additional BSc in physiology and genetics. She joined us in 2015. Her interests within health are paediatrics as well as malnutrition at any stage of life, including supporting people with HIV, TB and cancer. She enjoys time with friends, exploring the outdoors, reading and being creative with photography. |

Zizo Bobo
Dietician Zizo is a UWC graduate, joining us for community service this year. She is particularly interested in infant and paediatric nutrition as well as public health. She brings persistance and passion to the job of "saving the world," but when she's not doing that she's likely to be buried in a good book, or enjoying awesome company. |
